Former watchtower located in the town of Sète, in Hérault, the Redoute du Castellas tower was built in the mid-18th century to protect the city from maritime invasions. Rising over three floors, it notably reveals loopholes. The first floor is covered by a barrel vault pierced by a telescope.
The building now benefits from an inscription in the Historic Monuments.
