The Lesdiguieres tower is located in Selonnet, in the Alpes de Haute Provence, 5 km north of Seyne.
Built in the fifteenth and rebuilt in the seventeenth century, it is the only remains of the castle of the constable and duke Lesdiguières, leader of the Dauphiné and reformed great captain Protestant armies during the Wars of Religion. The rest of the castle now destroyed then acted as headquarters.
The locality also served as a refuge in times to populations threatened by the authorities and the Catholic armies.
The tower is now office steeple of the village church adjacent to the building, protected as historical monuments.
