Bourg des Landes, Seignosse is located in the region of New-Aquitaine, between the forest of Landes and Maremne. It has access to the Atlantic Ocean through its listed seaside resort, Seignosse Ocean. Well-known surf spot, the town is not far from Hossegor, another popular destination in the region.

The seaside resort of Seignosse-Ocean is surely the main tourist attraction of this Landes commune. Classified, it takes place about five kilometers from Seignosse, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Built in the 1970s, it offers four beaches stretching for about six kilometers, the beach of Bourdaines, that of the Casernes, that of the Estagnots, and that of the Penon, former name of the station. The site also houses the largest water park in all Landes, Atlantic Park. There are over 2,800 square meters of multitrack slides, whirlpools, a spa, kamikaze slides, a counter-current river, beach volleyball courts and inflatable structures for children.
In the village, you will appreciate the architecture of the Saint-André church built in the thirteenth century. Partially destroyed at the time of the Terror, the building reveals a beautiful stone bell tower of Angoulême Gothic style. In the seaside resort, the church of Sainte-Thérèse du Penon deserves to be visited.
Commune sportive, Seignosse allows the practice of hiking, mountain biking, surfing or even kitesurfing. A beautiful golf course is also present on the territory of the locality, offering a breathtaking view of the ocean.
A seasonal market is held from June to September, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The weekly market takes place on Wednesday mornings.
During the month of August, the celebrations of Seignosse take place in the borough including a funfair and attractions, as well as the traditional evening mousse.
