Located in the department of Hauts-de-Seine, in the Île-de-France, the city of Sceaux is one of the most famous in the region. Green spaces are numerous in the town of Sceaux, including the Garden of the Menagerie, a place of walk appreciated by locals, or the garden of Félibres. The latter includes sculptures by Frédéric Mistral, Maurice Faure or Joseph Loubet, writers Felibres. It once hosted the tomb of Jean-Pierre Claris of Florian, the famous fabulist behind the town's Felibrian tradition.
