Sausheim is a commune in Haut-Rhin that takes place in the suburbs of Mulhouse. This city of Alsace is located at the heart of Napoleon Island, and is crossed by the forest of the Hardt, second of all forest Alsace.
Often hit by the wars, the city of Sausheim suffered many damages during the bombings of World War II, and was destroyed to 75%. Today raised from the ashes, the Alsatian town now experiencing an economic resurgence, including the installation of a Citroën plant in large scale.
