The leisure base of Lake Moselotte is located in the town of Saulxures-sur-Moselotte in the Vosges, 25 km southwest of Gerardmer.
The lake that adjoins the course of the Moselotte was built in 1998 on a site that housed a sandpit.
With an area of 10 hectares, it is surrounded by twenty wooded and green hectares which constitute the base, itself integrated into the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges.
In addition to a hotel and a campsite, the base offers year-round outdoor activities: petanque, beach volleyball. Soccer field and especially hiking or biking (possibility to rent electric bikes), the site is connected to a greenway with 50 km of tracks through the Vosges mountains.
In summer, besides the practice of pedalo, canoeing (rental points), swimming is supervised and a water sports club with slides and other recreational facilities is available (with a surcharge of 10 to 13 euros).
For simple access and swimming, fare from 2.20 to 3 euros.
An area is also dedicated to fishermen.
