Founded in the middle of the 19th century, the municipal museum of Sault offers its visitors the opportunity to discover fabulous prehistoric, Gallo-Roman and medieval collections. It is particularly possible to admire weapons, a mummy or an original from the encyclopedia of Diderot and d'Alembert.
Open to visitors in July and August, and for groups the rest of the year, the Sault museum is one of the oldest municipal museums in France.
