Located on the town of Sartène, in Corse-du-Sud, the Genoese tower Senetosa takes eponymous beach near a lighthouse, the most original of all the Island of Beauty. Perched on a rock, the building is one of the main points of interest of the many hiking trails nearby.
Built in the early seventeenth century to protect the Cape of Senetosa she once used to keep watch over the sea to prevent the arrival of potential hackers. Of circular plan, it is covered with coated and surrounded by several battlements. It consists of two floors and a terrace and is a fine example of military architecture of the Genoese era.
