Built on the eponymous cape, the Sénétosa lighthouse was designed at the end of the 19th century by the engineer and architect Zevaco. Used to signal the course on the sea route from the Gulf of Ajaccio to Bonifacio, it was originally powered by mineral oil. Electrified and automated at the end of the 1980s, it was also the first lighthouse to come under the responsibility of the Conservatoire du Littoral in the 2010s.
The Sénétosa lighthouse consists of two cylindrical turrets surrounding the technical building and the accommodation guards. Today it is a popular stopover for hikers going from Tizzano to Cala di Conca.
