Circuit of Earthenware: a walk that retraces two centuries of ingenuity, skill and talent.

The circuit of earthenware Sarreguemines is an original tour that will satisfy art lovers, history and beautiful objects... It allows, in one busy day to know everything about the one of the most popular productions Faience world.
The sites easily accessible to any vehicle but can also be done on foot for hikers (5 km). Initially the Moulin de la Blies (Museum of Faience Techniques), a trail runs along the banks of the Blies and Saar.

Historical and architectural circuit Sarreguemines:

The Tourist Office Sarreguemines Confluence provides a circuit and Historical Architectural. The development of places of great heritage value to (re) discover in a historical and cultural perspective, for all visitors who wish to deepen their knowledge about the history of the city and its many fascinating anecdotes. The medieval town at St. Nicolas church, through Goethe Square and the Golden Street, the city faience takes on another dimension that will appeal most tourist visitor.

Garden of Faience:

5 gardens each with their own universe and every year, are complemented by an ephemeral garden. The Blies Mill Gardens enroll in a strong industrial heritage: a former production unit of pottery Sarreguemines devoted to the manufacture of pulp, industrial wasteland today. They frame the Museum of pottery techniques. Designed by Philippe Deny, floral arrangements made for the mineral part consists of plant redevelopment.

Carnival of Sarreguemines: in February or March, in the city center. In the Rhenish tradition, the carnival of Sarreguemines with its colorful cavalcade and its wild balla balla attracts every year a crowd of happy fellows. Disguise and good humor mandatory!
Festival of St. Paul: end of June, in the city center. Rich in faience heritage and a recognized gastronomic tradition, Sarreguemines celebrates the time of a weekend the meetings of the Saint-Paul, street arts festival. Large market of local products, street shows set to music by ambulatory fanfares, lively evening entertainment. Atmosphere assured!
SaarMoselle bike: in August. The event is open to all cyclists in Saarland and Moselle. Pedal without borders along the Saarland Saarbrücken to Wittring and along the Blies to Bliesbruck-Reinheim without time or speed constraints, start and stop your excursion wherever you want. Many activities are offered throughout the course: 13 stages with a varied program await visitors.
Christmas Village: from the end of November to the 24th of December in the city center. In a traditional musical atmosphere, the chalets, the illuminations, the decorations, the crafts, the gastronomy and the spectacles are done in the center of Sarreguemines. From the tenderest light of the day until nightfall, the Sarreguemines Christmas market will be rocked by magic. While strolling in the heart of this magical village, enjoy waders, troops and street artists, all more surprising than the others! Throughout the period of advent, come and stroll in a warm, magical and greedy, conducive to the preparation of Christmas.

Church of Zetting:

7 km from Sarreguemines, nestled in a loop of the Saar, a verdant hill, stands the church of Saint-Marcel Zetting and architectural treasures. This building has a round tower of the 10th century Romanesque nave, a choir dating from 1434, and exceptional 15th century stained glass windows tell the old and new testament. The stained glass windows painted by painters Strasbourg, alone are worth a visit and is the masterpiece of the church Zetting flagship, the regional heritage.

European Archaeological Park of Bliesbruck-Reinheim:

In the peaceful valley of the Blies on the Franco-German border, between Bliesbruck (France) and Reinheim (Germany), has been developed on European Archaeological Park of Bliesbruck-Reinheim. It is here that archaeologists have unearthed a Celtic necropolis, a villa and a Gallo-Roman town.
An original museum tour takes visitors to the reconstruction of the famous tomb of the 'Princess of Reinheim' pavilions to house the remains of public baths and houses of craftsmen.
Guided tours and regular events allow restitution of the daily life of the Gauls and Gallo-Romans.

Towpath: Hyphen between the towns of Val de Sarre between Germany and Alsace, it offers a nice ride through sites and picturesque landscapes, dotted with picnic areas and rest. A practice walking, cycling or skating.
Cycling routes borrowers in priority local roads "quiet", logging roads and forest agricultural and rural roads.

A north-south along the Saar canal and canal collieries of the Saar, Grosbliederstroff to Willerwald: 20 km of trails have been restored during the first half of 2004. This route will join the channel Marne au Rhin already has a bike path by the department of Bas-Rhin.
