The kiosk: Here you start your discovery journey of Salouël.
Before you is a tile painting entitled Liberté, offered by Gilbert Lefeuvre to the commune and inaugurated on September 22, 2012 by Jean-René Hémart, former mayor of the commune of Salouël.
Inspired by the poem Liberté from the collection Poésie et Liberté by Paul Eluard, Gilbert Lefeuvre shows us his values, his certainties and his concerns about freedom in today's world. "Conceived as a notebook of 726 pages where the lines of color are arranged, this work is an adventure. It installs in its journey, the graphic registers, the play of color in a mixture of figuration and non-figuration." Gilbert Lefeuvre.
The Swamp: You have just entered the swamp. This space set up by the municipality offers you free access to culture, sport and leisure.
Whether you are an avid sportsman or an amateur, we invite you to follow the exercises offered by the fitness trail.
You can also discover works of art hidden in a green setting. These, offered by the Métropole Art association, allow for the democratization of art and a fun first approach for young and old alike!
Let your children run around, have fun playing games and take a break thanks to the reading boxes set up by Amiens Métropole and managed by the municipality. There are two at Salouël.
This solidarity concept promotes social bonds, encourages a sharing economy and makes you an eco-citizen.
The workers' gardens: At the end of this alley, you can admire the gardens of the Salou association: The workers' gardens.
"The shy purple hydrangeas in their corner listened to the bells at the entrance to the garden. The gallant gardenias in their suave doublets heard the sweet cry of the childish trees. The charming, agile and mischievous geraniums washed their hair while around the pool. The tender violets in satin dresses breathed the good morning air. A kind little girl with pruning shears made quite a bouquet - the end of this happiness." Beating the campaign, Raymond Queneau.
