The municipality has pleasure in living heritage throughout the site Amphoralis who rebuilt his village of Gallo-Roman potters alike found the remains.
The Amphoralis Museum overlooks the archaeological excavation of a workshop Gallo-Roman potters, active since the 20/30 BC to the third century, and excavated in 1976. The visitor discovers the activity and daily life of the potters who produced en masse amphorae for transporting wine but also different construction materials (bricks, tiles) and dishes everyday. After visiting the museum, an outdoor path leads to furnaces and reconstructions of a habitat, buildings constructed identically and handcrafted by the museum team. Archaeological test center as a place of discovery and entertainment for the public, Amphoralis welcomes you for an original journey in the heart of the artisan district and homes.
World Heritage of UNESCO, the connecting channel is a French waterway that connects the Canal du Midi to the Canal de la Robine via the Aude. The canal was commissioned in 1787 roughly a century after the Canal du Midi. It is entirely located in the municipality of Sallèles-d'Aude and is 8 km long and comprises 7 locks. Much of its route is lined with ancient pines. With the towpaths which line its entire length, the channel is made for strolling. On foot or by bike, walkers will enjoy beautiful landscapes. We can also discover the canal and through its 7 locks boat on board passenger barges.
Calvary of the site, completely refurbished by the municipality regularly hosts cultural events such as exhibitions, or outdoor concerts. Calvary, with its rich history and its restored old stone is ideal for walkers eager to history or simply wish to relax in the cool shade of stone over a century.

In winter, the local party every first weekend of February, runs the village.
