Romanesque church of Gironde listed historical monument, St. Alexis Sainte-Terre church has a nave and a typical bedside of the twelfth century buildings. She sits on the highest point of the village, the site where was poured out of the land of Palestine brought the First Crusade.
The construction of the building continued throughout the Middle Ages, which explains the presence of several elements of Gothic style, as the door with its gable. The church Sainte-Terre also experienced changes in the eighteenth century with the addition of a bell tower in baroque style and in the nineteenth century with the integration of two aisles.
Inside, you can admire furniture from the eighteenth century, including beautiful wooden altar dedicated to the Virgin and St. Alexis. The apse also reveals a beautiful painted decoration and a canvas painted in trompe l'oeil.
