Located in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Loops of the Seine Normande, in the Eure, the Maison de la Pomme takes place just a few minutes from the Marais Vernier nature reserve, in the former 18th century presbytery. The site presents this typically Norman fruit, revealing the different varieties, the characteristics of apple trees, cultivation in orchards or even deviated products. Visitors can enjoy a reconstituted still and watch a video showing all the steps in cider making before going to the store.
Not far away, it is possible to appreciate the forge of Sainte-Opportune-la-Mare which once had a very important social function in the town. In the summer season, the latter comes alive with the organization of various demonstrations every Sunday.
