First named Lacy, the name changed to the Revolution to become Lassy.
It is surrounded by rivers, to the south by the Druance, to the west by the stream Roucamps, and to the east the Creek des Vaux. Tortonne Creek crosses it from east to west.
The inhabitants are Saint-Jeannais.
