Things to see and do

The church of Saint-Urbain, rectangular in shape with a single nave and surrounded by its U-shaped cemetery, saw its first stones laid in the 10th century. It was rebuilt, consolidated and embellished in the 14th century. Burned down three times during the Vendée wars, it was restored and then given a thatched roof in 1798. Framework and roof were restored in 1830. In 1861, the transept was added to the single nave to give it the shape we know today. currently.

Located 13 km from the sea, on the edge of the town and the marsh, the municipal campsite offers 25 bare pitches. Open from April 1 to September 30, each year, it attracts many tourists for its calm and friendliness.
