Saint-Trojan-les-Bains The town is located in the southwestern end of the island of Oleron, bathed by the sluices of Maumusson and Oleron Coureau.
Large sandy beaches, pine forests and mild climate make Saint-Trojan-les-Bains a seaside resort closed popular in the late nineteenth century. The municipality belongs to the network recently stone villages and water, label initiated by the General Council to promote exceptional sites with the distinction of being located near a body of water. Saint-Trojan-les-Bains also hosts the thalassotherapy center of the island of Oléron.
The oyster port, the colorful shacks, is a ride site where authenticity is the rendezvous. Although still active, some huts have been invested by artists, craftsmen and restorers.
