New town of Brittany, Saint-Thégonnec-Loc-Eguiner takes place in the department of Finistère. Born in 2016 from the merger of the communes of Loc-Eguiner-Saint-Thégonnec and Saint-Thégonnec, it is located in the arrondissement of Morlaix.
The village of Saint-Thégonnec-Loc-Eguiner was once known for the cultivation of flax. Installed as of the fifteenth century, this industry made the reputation of the municipality which counted several washhouses.
Today, Saint-Thégonnec-Loc-Eguiner is best known for its architectural heritage and tourist activity.
