Saint-Romain-de-Jalionas The town is located north of the Isère department along the Rhone which marks the boundary with the department of Ain.
Currently, several departmental pathways allow a connection with the motorways giving easy access to major cities in the region. Lyon 30 km to the east, Bourg-en-Bresse, and Chambery airport Lyon Saint Exupéry to 10 minutes.
The area is 1365 ha, the average altitude of 200 meters and approximately 3200 people inhabit the town that has preserved its rural character while offering Jalioromains a shopping center and a diverse network of associations (30% of the population with less 20 years). The elementary school and kindergarten group welcomes 300 children who benefit from a school cafeteria.
An industrial area of 10 hectares develops gradually and offers the town on jobs. Saint-Romain-de-Jalionas is part of the Community of Municipalities of the Isle Crémieu, yet benefits from the infrastructure of cities and Jameyzieu Tignieu-Pont-de-Cheruy located a few kilometers.
