Ideally located on the Angers-Rennes axis, between Craon and Segré, Saint-Quentin-les-Anges is a typical rural village of Anjou.
It is well known for its associative and social dynamism (theater, football, Seeds of Actors festival-theater for young people, festival committee,...), welcoming for new inhabitants (school), very well endowed with sports or cultural facilities.
It is also renowned by the various establishments hosting family banquets (hotel-restaurant-caterer communal recreation room, etc.).
Origin of the name: Saint-Quentin-les-Anges owes its name to Saint Quentin who lived in Amiens in the 3rd century and which is celebrated on October 31st. The church and the parish, dedicated to Saint Quentin, still have relics of this saint. The name Saint Quentin les Anges has evolved over time:

1292: Sanctus Quintinus de Burgo-Novo
1529: Sainct Quintin
1783: Saint Quentin en Craonnais
1800: Saint Quentin
1937: Saint Quentin les Anges
The name of Saint-Quentin-les-Anges was therefore given by deliberation of the municipal council on March 7, 1937: "The council responding to the request of the Prefect of January 12 1937, concerning the addition to the name of the municipality to reduce the chances of errors of the postal service, proposes that henceforth the municipality be called: Saint-Quentin-les-Anges, because of the importance of the village of Angels and in honor of the established Convent aux Anges...
