Located in the department of Haute-Savoie, Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny is actually the 3 towns meeting, the city of Passerier, that of Saint-Maurice-de-Rumilly and Saint-Pierre-de-Rumilly. A meeting in 1965, but these 3 towns not formed in the eighteenth century one parish, this group seemed so natural!

The city is located in the massive pre-Alpine, and it is estimated that its history dates back to the period between antiquity and the early Middle Ages. Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny seems to have had an important activity at this time with a strong presence of the Templars that we can still see today, especially in the hamlet of Passerier.

Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny it is also every year the festival Ostara, a rock and alternative music festival held each year in May to end the space Armand Bouvard.

In April, the second Saturday of the month exactly, the city of Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny organizing for over 30 years the spring fair. An event which is now part of the festive landscape of the city that has both professional exhibitors and yard sales for private individuals of the town. On site entertainment and a food court is assured.

The weekend before the Mother's Day is dedicated to the art show and craft. An exhibition organized by the festival committee of the city for nearly 30 years. During these two days, artisans, designers, wineries, regional products producers come and sell their creations.
