The Saint-Denis Saint-Omer in the Pas-de-Calais, the date for its oldest parts of the thirteenth century.
It is originally a station midterm marking out the procession, in the Middle Ages connected the Abbey of Saint-Bertin at the cathedral. This route became moreover the St. Bertin street.
Surrounded by a pen pad, the church has a Gothic tower of the thirteenth century high of four levels including the three highest are pierced with arcades. It is framed by towering buttresses.
A chapel in the north is also the thirteenth century. The chorus, however, fifteenth date with her arch paneling adorned with carved heads and the nave was rebuilt in the early eighteenth century after it was damaged when a hurricane made it collapse on the spire of the tower. It has been the form of a hall with three naves side by side with the same height.
Throughout the former regime, as a parish church, the Church of St. Denis is popular with the nobility but also the citizens, merchants, and businesses grouped into corporations. A chapel is so dedicated to carpenters, adorned with remarkable paneling, another fishmongers. It also houses several graves.
Protected as historical monuments, the church is finally known for its rich furnishings and works of art or objects related to worship, most classified: organ, paintings, statues, monstrances, chalices, reliquaries...
