Pointe du Châtel at Saint-Jean-d'Arves is part of one of the summits of the long and magnificent ridge which connects Montzard to Grand Agnelin. This summit offers a superb view of the village of Saint-Jean-d'Arves (and more broadly of the entire Arvan valley) on one side, and of the Aiguilles d'Arves on the other side.
Warning: the hike to access Pointe du Châtel is not marked and certain passages are difficult, notably the climb to Montzard, which is steep and has no visible path.
