Saint-François, seaside resort, labeled France Station Nautique, is located at the southeastern tip of Grande Terre. It is particularly renowned for its many beaches, the most famous of which is the Raisins Clairs beach.
The site of the Pointe des Châteaux, classified Grand National Site, faces the island of La Désirade and the islands of Petite Terre, nature reserve.
Saint-François has an aerodrome (aerial tours and helicopter tour), an international 18 hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, a marina, a nautical base (windsurfing, kitesurfing, jet skiing, kayaking, sailing) A fishing port and its fish market, a seaport (links with the islands of La Désirade, Marie-Galante and Les Saintes), a casino, tennis courts (close to the beach of Raisins Clairs).
Do not forget the market around the Rotunda every morning from Tuesday to Sunday, and the night market on Tuesday night.
