An exceptional monument: Gothic and Renaissance church of Saint-Florentin strikes by its imposing dimensions, similar to that of a cathedral. The ornamentation reflects indeed the expertise of the School Trojan: the exceptional set of 24 stained remarkably colorful surprises with its fine details and the harmony of its brilliant colors. Note especially the Apocalypse, the Immaculate Conception or the Creation of the World. The grace and splendor of the church Florentin earned him to be classified a historical monument in 1842. The museum Florentin: The idea was born there over 14 years to restore its credentials to the former County Museum. In the heart of Saint-Flo, the museum Florentin was excellently well received by the population of the city and its environs. This "new" cultural institution has indeed been seen as an asset for the town. She is a treasure of memories for the oldest, a great way for youth to discover the local history and a major tourist attraction. With the support of the Friends of the Museum in Florentin, but also the many donations and private loans, the museum has four rooms today. Avrolles, joint involved: Located just a few miles west of Saint-Florentin, Avrolles is marked by the site of Mount Avrollot which was occupied by men since ancient times (maybe 2 or 3000 years BC). Natural defensive site, this oppidum spur-type bar has raised a rampart and expanded (8 m wide), which explains the importance of remnant present. At the foot of the mountain, a large church (XVI century) and its fortified tower, the height of the nave with current outstanding recalls the former importance of this ancient town. With a peculiarity: the bell tower is separated from the nave by an avenue of lime trees of 20 m.
