Located near the Cévennes Regional Nature Park, in the commune of Saint-André-de-Valborgne, in the Gard, the castle of Folhaquier is an old feudal castle mentioned in history since the 13th century. Today in ruins, it still reveals a square tower of the dungeon, as well as some ramparts, all in shale stones sitting.
Accessible by several marked hiking trails, the Château du Folhaquier offers breathtaking views of the Borgne valley and its unspoilt landscapes, as well as the wild causse of the Méjean.
