Saint-Amand-de-Vergt is located south of Vergt. It is a very ancient common origin of the 10th and 11th centuries, whose name was given by the monks of St Amand missionaries who traveled the country to found priories, chapels, churches.
The church was rebuilt in the late 11th century Romanesque style as a whole, including its bell tower that surmounts a beautiful dome, it is run every July and August, for a music festival including three concerts high level.
Saint-Amand-de-Vergt remains a common living highly valued for its calm and homes.
