Village of Ille-et-Vilaine, in the bay of Mont Saint-Michel, Roz-sur-Couesnon takes place near Pontorson, and Dol-de-Bretagne. Bordering the department of Manche through the municipality of Beauvoir, it is no longer crossed by the Couesnon since the late nineteenth century.
Once owned by the deanery of Dol, Roz-sur-Couesnon was mainly a fishing and farming commune. With its breathtaking view of the Bay, it has become today a popular tourist destination for visitors wishing to discover the Marvel.
Lovers of gastronomy will appreciate the local specialty, pre-salt sheep, while lovers of old stones and outdoor life will be seduced by the charm of this small Breton city close to its traditions and history.
