Located in the heart of the 17th century Hocqueville mansion, the Rouen Ceramics Museum, in Normandy, unveils the creations of the greatest French earthenware manufacturers over the centuries.
Amateurs can discover here permanent collections of pieces from Rouen from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, such as the tiles by Masséot Abaquesne or the blue shades of Poterat. Also on the program, projects from the best French and foreign production centers such as Delft or Nevers. Chinoiserie from the Rococo period, ceremonial services or earthenware sculptures are revealed to the public who can also enjoy regular collections of more contemporary works.
