Castle: located on a rocky outcrop overlooking the confluence of the Vayres and Graine rivers, this majestic building is the heir of a fortress built in the tenth century. The monument has happened to us is more recent: it has elements built between the twelfth and fifteenth centuries. Today property of the County Council of Haute-Vienne, it serves as a backdrop to the Departmental Museum of Contemporary Art.
Church of the Savior: this beautiful Romanesque church built in the eleventh century and modified in the thirteenth century, is characterized by its octagonal bell tower of the fourteenth century, topped by a rare spiral arrow (which earned him the name "steeple tors ") dating from the eighteenth.
Moulin Coast / Door and Gothic bridge: At the foot of the castle in the valley near the old mill of the Coast, a Gothic three-arched bridge spanning the seed toward a mythical place, the Roc du Boeuf. At the junction of the way back to the castle is a Gothic door, probably that of the body of advanced guard the ramparts.
Chapel of Beaumoussou: the construction of this Romanesque chapel, now located in the cemetery, could date back to the eleventh or twelfth century.
Departmental Museum of Contemporary Art: Labeled "Museum of France", the M.D.A.C. is located in the heart of the castle. It includes an important collection of contemporary art (about 300 works) and an exceptional collection dedicated to the artist "Dada" Raoul Hausmann (1886-1971). It also presents a thematic and monographic exhibitions.
Espace Meteorite Paul Pellas - House Reserve: In a little over 100 m², space covers many themes (the solar system, meteorites, effects and consequences of falls of these objects, the Astrobleme Rochechouart- Chassenon...). Meanwhile, the space offers guided and guided tours throughout the summer. The local also hosts the Maison de la Reserve, born from the creation of the National Nature Reserve of Astrobleme Rochechouart Chassenon.
Hiking trails: the town has several hiking trails, two of them go directly to the city center.

Early July: collectors festival this scholarship renowned exhibition, offering thematic focus, opens the summer season Rochechouart. The exhibition and sale of various objects is accompanied by an extremely popular car boot.
July 14: Rochechouart to the celebrations (fireworks and animations) traditionally provided at the edge of the water of Boischenu.
Mid-July: Night Market and yard sales. Extremely popular, these two appointments are "unavoidable" summer rochechouartais.
Late July-early August: Festival "Labyrinth of the Voice": a varied musical programming and quality, open to all styles and all public, for very suitable prices. The shows, outdoor, have the particularity to be held in the beautiful surroundings of the castle. Alongside these shows, a free entertainment program is offered to festival goers.
Mid-August "festival in Brass". A nice free outdoor event, held in the heart of the city as part of a major regional festival.
Mid-August: potters market. Craftsmen / artists from all backgrounds, from all over Europe (and sometimes later) present their work and perform together in a temporary furnace built for the occasion in the city center, superb collective works.
Biennial of Naïve Art and Singular: exhibition of naive or singular inspiration sculptures. Even years.
Exhibitions: Every summer, the city hosts many exhibitions to discover.
Ostensions septennial: deeply rooted in the history of Limousin and Rochechouartais, these ancient religious celebrations are of undeniable cultural and popular character. Next edition in 2023.
