Small town Gironde, Rions (site) is located on the RD10, about thirty kilometers south of Bordeaux, at the foot of the hills on the right bank of the Garonne, the vineyards of Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux. His past is full of more than 1000 years of history. Involved in the events of the Hundred Years War, the British occupied since the mid-13th century, Rions was released in 1295 by Charles de Valois and destroyed its fortifications.
