Small town of Aveyron, Occitanie region, Rieupeyroux takes place about forty kilometers from Rodez, not far from Castanet, Privezac or Rignac.

Stamped Green Station because of its preserved environment, the city built in the Bastides of Rouergue has developed strongly during the twentieth century, becoming a hotbed of tourism in the region.

Things to see and do

Listed as a historic monument, the Saint-Martial church is not lacking in charm. Built in the course of the thirteenth century, it has a traditional architecture typical of the region.

The town also has several marked hiking trails including the Passejaires.

Events and festivities

The monthly fair is held every third Wednesday of the month, in the morning. The farmers' market is offered every Sunday morning from mid-June to mid-September, offering local products.

Guided tours of the Savior and the Church are offered every Wednesday at 10am.

A lively Irish evening is organized in mid-August.

At the beginning of September, there will be a film festival in the city with many screenings.
