Reyniès

Arriving at Reyniès via the 1850s bridge, renovated in 2016, you are presented with a real postcard. On the left the castle inhabited by the Seguin family of Reyniès, owners, built in the 13th century, and typically from the 18th century, is listed as a historic monument.

On the right the banks of the Tarn, with their washhouse, and the towpath (navigation of the Tarn required until 1850), then a completely renovated avenue overlooking the church, one of the only buildings left standing during the floods of 1930.

Obviously, like many municipalities, several associations are the driving force, sporting or cultural.

The two village festivals, at the end of June in Moulis and the end of July in Reyniès, and more recently the winter festival, complete the attraction of the commune. Raft races, but also garage sales, toy markets... attract many visitors every year, sometimes from very far away, without forgetting the neighbors' festivals, and the traditional hunters' meal.

Hiking trails lead to neighboring towns, and very recently, a cycle loop links the area. A town center link is being built to join the Bressols (82)/Bessières (31) greenway cycle route over 31 km for the moment.

A unique digital route leaves from the town center to Moulis. It highlights the exceptional Art Deco 1930 buildings, but also tells the story of the 1930 flood and the reconstruction that followed. It is also accessible via the internet from the municipality's website.
