Located in the heart of Rennes, in the Ille-et-Vilaine, the Museum of Brittany offers you to go back in time and discover the Brittany region through the centuries, from Prehistory to the present day. Established in the Champs-Elysées since 2006, it opened in 1976. Labeled Tourism and Handicap, it covers nearly 3000 m² and offers three permanent exhibitions, a document consultation room, and two animation rooms.
Brittany is the Universe offers to appreciate more than 2,000 objects on the history of the region, while the Dreyfus Affair allows to discover this important event in the Bretons through a living and interactive exhibition. A journey in images and sounds, Brittany of the Thousand and One Images, also offers a beautiful vision of the sector.
Thematic temporary exhibitions are regularly organized, as well as guided tours, animated tours, treasure hunts, and workshops on pottery and illumination.
