Moulins-sur-Tardoire

Overlooking the Tardoire, St. Peter's Church Rancogne dates from the second half of the twelfth century. It deserves a visit, like the castle not far. It consists of a square defense tower and three round towers. After admiring the mill stone, you will discover two prehistoric caves of the city. Discovered in the mid-nineteenth century, the cave of the Closet, listed building, is open to the public in summer, reservation, revealing its beautiful wall art murals. Discovered in the early 2000s, the face of the cave is limited to a small number of annual visits to preserve the still art frescoes parietal expertise and that are older than those of Lascaux.
