The fountain is located in Lower Street Corre village. This wash is divided into two parts, the front trough and back wash (and this also has a wash pump). This monument is fully in the Quincey heritage because of its architectural beauty and its great historical interest for the villagers (one of the few wash houses supplied with water during periods of drought)...
In the second half of the twentieth century, this fountain - washhouse deteriorated gradually. A rehabilitation project is planned by the municipality of Quincey in the late 1990s and was granted by the municipality in the 2000s The laundry was restored in 2011 by the Compagnons du Devoir.
