Puyméras village is located 7 km from Vaison-la-Romaine (canton), the edge of the Vaucluse, and on the edge of Drome.
It is perched on the heights to 372 meters, and is crossed by a river, Lauzon.
Puyméras were 615 inhabitants in the 2001 Census. These are called Puymérassiennes and Puymérassiens.
It covers 1459 hectares, of which 42% are grown in vineyards AOC CDR and CDR Village. However, it has preserved olive groves for the production of oil AOC from Nyons.
