Puligny-Montrachet is a commune in the Côte-d'Or, Burgundy. Village of 400 inhabitants, is located ten kilometers from Beaune, in the heart of wine country.
This village is now known for its wines, with no less than 17 climates classified first growths and 4 wines. It also has a wine included in the AOC vineyards of the Côte de Beaune. The latter seduced renowned amateurs, like Alexander Dumas, or the US President Thomas Jefferson who considered him the best in the world.
