Prévinquières

Prévinquières has preserved its medieval character through the remains of the fortifications, which were built during the Hundred Years War when the English invaded the region. They included three doors-regulate the entry and exit of people.

Prévinquières retains its old defenses a high square tower under which opens a door giving access to the south side village. This time, the village also retains very beautiful houses.

St. Martin's Church: Rebuilt in the nineteenth century (1850), several times. The old smaller church was built in the middle of the cemetery and connected to the presbytery. In 1828, the purchase of land allowed to release the church's surroundings and remove the ossuary. After this transformation, the church square, became the economic center of the town.
Top Portal: Remains of the fortifications of the fifteenth, it is a defense tower and its portal.

Pervenche Circuit 1:

Duration 1:15.
Start: Festival Hall.
Road Compolibat head towards the hamlet of Grange (old fountain 50 m) and follow the signs that will take you up the hill (the rocks) where you can admire the valley and Prévinquières to Compolibat. Join the road to the left. A must in "the Virgin" (hairpin turn), continue 500 meters on asphalt and borrow Costepeyrouse road for 300 meters before sinking to the left through the pine trees. Crossing the creek. Arrive on departmental and back along the Mas del Puech and the site of the Mouline. Visit the village to return.

Pervenche Circuit 2:

Duration 2:30.
Start: Website of the Mouline.
After the bridge over the Aveyron, continue 500 m to departmental hairpin turn. Take the dirt road after the shed. You discover the village and the valley during the ascent (2 km) to the plateau. After the hamlet of Reyrebrune go straight to the RD and turn left to the hamlet of Filhol. A few hundred meters and you join Pervenche 2 in the hamlet of Bedènes. You initiate the descent by a dirt road, you arrive again on the asphalt. Take direction Labro. After crossing a fence you discover the castle of Labro. Do not go under the porch, turn left into the valley (old washing and pumping station). Switching to Low Mill and return to the deck along the river.

Circuit Trail Puechs:

Duration 3h.
Start: Website of the Mouline.
Take the road Canniverse - Le Bouyssou 350 m and turn left on a path that joins a grassy path. Still left to continue the climb. At the road turn left to turn: Viewpoint with an orientation table (Prévinquières and beautiful views of the valley of the Aveyron). After the hamlet of Canniverse, veer right and continue climbing up to the village of Bouyssou. At the entrance take direction "La Bessière" 400 m. Before the farm, turn left on a logging road that we must leave to descend on a rather steep path, through the woods, joins a dirt road (GR 62B). Turn left to return to the Mouline the reception area on a nice path along the river.

Circuit Trail Maquis:

Duration 4h.
Start: Website of the Mouline.
Cross the bridge over the Aveyron and turn right onto the dirt road and follow the river facing the lake. It then plunges into a wood where you will discover an old shepherd's hut. After a somewhat steep climb overlooking the creek we are about where lived hidden for months Duguesclin resistant Maquis during World War II. To see: old bread oven, stairs (left), fagots shacks and stone huts (Q.G. the Maquis). Continue our walk to Mirabel by climbing a pine wood (right after the creek). Arrival at "Dog Rock" and valley views. The village of Mirabel awaits visitors who go down to the bridge of Mirabel (departure path opposite the church), go through the book on the Aveyron and turn right on the dirt road. Welcome back to Prévinquières in the shade (midterm: overlooking Mirabel).
