Préchacq-les-Bains

The main focus of Préchacq-les-Bains is its spa specializing in the treatment of rheumatism. The site also deals with respiratory problems of all kinds. The first spa in the village have been exploited since 1610 by Sully, offering an idyllic setting for people wishing to relax. Forty minutes from the beaches, this delightful spa is popular for its family atmosphere and its well-being space.

In the village, you can admire the St. John the Baptist Church, and architecture all in simplicity.

Préchacq-les-Bains The market is held from April to October, on Saturday morning.

In mid-June, the village offers its fiestas with a foot race, traditional bullfights and other supercharged entertainment.

You will also discover a small fountain and a wooden fisherman ? S creation on the edge of the Luc pond, both of which have been restored by the association. The tour also passes through the old village at the foot of the church, with its former presbytery, old schools dating from 1830 and 1880, and the war memorial built in 1921. A detour into the barthes will allow you to visit a pigeon farm. The tour ends at the Haouresse barn, with refreshments and a presentation of the chickadee nesting boxes created by L'Avoir.

• Jean-Pierre will guide you on a 4-kilometer walk and tell you about the life of the local hero, Joan of Arc ? S comrade-in-arms and the valet de coeur of our "La Hire" card game. Indeed, this hero was born in a castle in Préchacq-les-Bains, which has now disappeared. - At the end of the tour, you'll return to the foyer rural, where you'll be offered a friendly drink and a chance to admire an exhibition on La Hire.

Under Charles VI, known as the Mad King, a little girl (Odinette de Champdivers) is said to have invented card games to entertain the King. Although it's a legend, Odinette actually existed and was Charles VI's mistress. It's a fascinating legend.

• After a few hundred metres of walking, we'll visit a pigeon farm in the trees. - Then, after a stroll through the undergrowth, we'll visit the site known as Trou de Madame.
