Things to see and do

In the old town of Vaux-sous-Aubigny, you can admire the church of Saint-Symphorien of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, the station of Notre-Dame de la Mercie in the mid-1940s, or old wash houses. It is still known for its wine business which is a very good vintage.

Prauthoy Castle is located in the former commune of Prauthoy. Built between the sixteenth and nineteenth century, it is a building of Classical and neo-Renaissance style that belonged to the family of the philosopher, Denis Diderot, the Caroillon. Raised one floor at the end of the nineteenth century, it now serves as a luxury hotel, while the basement now serves as a tasting cellar. You can still admire in the park an artificial cave of the nineteenth century, as well as a cellar of the sixteenth century, the old kitchens and period furniture.

Known for its wine close to those of Côte-d'Or, the old town of Montsaugeon is an opportunity to sample some specimens in local vineyards. You will also be able to admire the Notre-Dame-of-the-Nativity church registered with the Historical Monuments, the old halls also inscribed, as well as the cross located at the entrance of the old dungeon, registered with the Historical Monuments. Inside the village, various old houses are still visible.
