Things to see and do

A megalithic site from the 4th century BC, the covered alley of Lesconil is one of the main tourist sites of Poullan-sur-Mer. This arched covered walkway, listed as a Historic Monument, was made entirely of granodiorite.

While strolling through the town, you can also visit the Saint-Cadoan church. Rebuilt many times over the centuries, it reveals to its visitors a current version from the end of the 16th century. It is possible to admire there, under the bell tower, a beautiful bas-relief representing a merchant ship.

Do not miss going to admire the Notre-Dame-de-Kérinec chapel erected between the 12th and 18th centuries. If the interior reveals a decoration characteristic of the style of the School of Pont-Croix, the exterior was redesigned between the end of the 14th and the beginning of the 15th century. Very sober in appearance at first glance, the Notre-Dame-de-Kérinec chapel reveals magnificent sculptures inside, like the gordon capitals supporting very large arcades. The furniture is also worth a stop, especially with the polychrome wooden statues representing Christ on the cross, Saint Joseph, Saint Anne or Saint Sebastian. Not far away stands a stepped Calvary from the 16th century with a pulpit for the days of forgiveness.

Other sites are also visible in the town of Poullan-sur-Mer, such as the 18th century Saint-They chapel or several Neolithic megalithic monuments.

Fans of outdoor activities will enjoy taking the coastal path which is part of the GR 34. Over fifty kilometers linking Douarnenez to Pointe du Van, you can admire exceptional landscapes, crossing in particular the reserve natural park of Goulien-Cap-Sizun.
