Exceptional exhibitions are also regularly organized. The museum also has a cabinet of curiosities and documents related to ecology and ethnology.
Ideal for family walks or simple decompression, the flooded meadow of the Saône is an important natural monument. Dozens of species of plants and birds are discovered in this protected natural site.
Other natural sites can be enjoyed in Pont-de-Vaux, like the site of Charmes, sand dunes of wind origin, or the island of La Motte with its exceptional fauna and flora. Signposted hiking trails are accessible all over and around the town, especially in the peaty moorland of the Onions.
