Charming village, Pont-de-Barret is located on either side of the Roubion. It is named after the historical monument bridge that connects the right bank (very old houses served by small cobbled streets winding) and the left bank (old village dominated by the Romanesque church of Notre-Dame la Brune, also listed building). He also was named to the rocky cliffs above and bars and offer wonderful climbing routes for fans of climbing.

The municipal campground, built within the castle park in the shade of magnificent trees, unfolds along the Roubion in the northern part of the village. It is a magnificent natural setting in which to picnic and swimming in the "hot tubs" natural is very pleasant.

In ancient Moulinages settled workshops of artists exhibiting from time to time in the "Quai".

Things to see and do

A stroll 45 minutes to discover the village and climb up the Notre Dame Brune, from where there is a magnificent panorama to the west and south. From the right bank of Roubion, we can also take a path to go up to the statue of the Virgin of the Vow, which was built there after World War II because the Germans had not entered the village.

Outdoor sports to practice: climbing, hiking (many walks starting Quay in the center of the village), biking, river swimming.

Visit closes on Wednesday between 16h and 18h ​​in order to watch the milking sheep and discover products from sheep's milk.

Events and festivities

The market is held every Thursday from 17:30 in the Place Chancel (except in winter). There are producers of vegetables and fruits are organic, cheese and yogurt from sheep, olives, tapenade and other small Provençal delights, syrups and infusions of plants, not to mention stomachs with herbs and essential picodon (goat cheese) !

The Pontoisies in April. This is a festival of performances in private homes. More than twenty shows are scheduled, ranging from theater to dance through music, song, storytelling for children and adults. On site, refreshments, sandwiches and snacks.
