Small town of Calvados, Normandy, Pont-d'Ouilly is located twenty kilometers from Falaise and a dozen kilometers from Condé-sur-Noireau. Based on the Orne, in the heart of Swiss Normandy, the town takes its name from the bridge that crosses it. The town is now dedicated to tourism and leisure with the presence of numerous recreational facilities.
Formerly known as stage city because it was one of the only ones with a bridge over the Orne to connect Paris to Brittany or Mont-Saint-Michel, the commune of Pont-d'Ouilly is still a must in the region. Heavily destroyed during WWII, the city was able to rebuild with great elegance and aesthetics. Despite this, however Pont-d'Ouilly preserved many ancient monuments of great beauty.
With its leisure and the many activities it offers, the small Normandy village is ideal for family holidays in the fresh air and rich entertainment.
