A charming little town of Finistère in Brittany, Plouigneau takes place a hundred kilometers of Quimper, in the limit of the department of Côtes d'Armor. It is not far from Morlaix and the sea coast of the Channel, near Lanmeur Guimaëc or Trémel.
Occupied since the early Middle Ages, the territory of Plouigneau develops gradually over the centuries, becoming a town full at the end of the eighteenth century following the events of the French Revolution. Dynamic and full of charm, the Breton city continues today to attract visitors passing through the area thanks to its interesting architectural and natural heritage, but also with its cultural and sports offerings.
