Small village of Oise, in the Hauts-de-France region, Plailly takes place in the Valois, only about thirty kilometers from Paris and its tourist sites. It is located not far from Senlis and the Ermenonville forest, in the heart of the Oise - Pays de France Regional Natural Park.
Old, the town developed in the Middle Ages with the construction of a castle which has now disappeared. However, it was not until the beginning of the 19th century and the development of the textile industry that it distinguished itself, in particular with the manufacture of the famous black lace. Today, Plailly is best known for hosting, since the end of the 1980s, Parc Astérix and its many attractions which attract a large number of visitors each year.
