Truchtersheim

Built in the second half of the twentieth century on the remains of the first building of the eighteenth century, the Church of St. Peter and Paul has retained some vestiges of its original architecture in the form of the choir of the original church which serves week chapel today. Behind the tower, it is also possible to admire some old tombstones.

Walking through the town, you can also discover some beautiful timbered houses, rural sandstone cross the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries or the lovely home of Kochersberg. This building fully restored nineteenth century was built to accommodate the Eskapade best tourist office, and an artist's studio a restaurant.

Through Pfettisheim, be sure not to admire the beautiful church of Saint-Symphorien, and the houses with traditional Alsatian architecture.

The weekly market is held every Friday in the late afternoon. An Alsatian traditional Christmas market is held every year in December.

In June, the town hosts the Relay for Life, a walk to benefit the fight against cancer.

A popular dance, fireworks or the Miss Kochersberg election are offered July 13 to celebrate the national holiday.

In August, Messti place with many activities for all ages including the program a flea market, folklore and musical entertainment, antique car exhibits or rides.
