Pesmes

Pesmes has a large number of fortified houses and other castles listed or listed historical monument, like the castle of Forges of the eighteenth century castle Rouillaud of the fifteenth century, the royal house of the fifteenth century, or even different houses and farms from the 16th to the 19th century.

The medieval walls of the thirteenth century is still visible in part, and strolling through the old center, you can also admire fountains of the nineteenth century, the town hall of the eighteenth century mills, or the old forges of the seventeenth century.

Listed as an historic monument, the church of Saint-Hilaire was built in the middle of the 12th century. Mainly Romanesque style, it had Gothic additions during its renovation in the eighteenth century. Inside, it is possible to admire a beautiful furniture like a high altar carved gilt wood, a pulpit black marble and polished red stone, or different statues of saints.

Listed in the general inventory of cultural heritage, St. Paul's Church dates from the fifteenth century. Partly restored in the early eighteenth century, it was successively a parish church, a Benedictine chapel, and a hermitage. It is now used as a dwelling.

Other chapels also take place in the town like that of Saint-Roch or the priory of Pesmes and Notre-Dame.

Joly Gardens will offer you breathtaking views from the ramparts, while the Museum of Ancient Forges will allow you to enjoy the history of this once important industry in the area.

To enjoy the beautiful days or to introduce you to the sport, take the direction of the island of Sauvageonne, or the nautical base. The town also offers tennis, as well as several trails accessible on foot or by bike.

• The market is held every Wednesday morning in the Place des Promenades. A flea market and a garage sale are also offered in August.
• In May, Art and Terroir offers meetings with local producers, artists and writers, as well as various activities.
• From June to September, place at Esti'Val de Pesmes with concerts, exhibitions and theatrical performances.
• The festival of the island of Sauvageonne takes place at the beginning of July with many activities.
• Painting contest in the streets, Vision takes place in July.
• The feast of Saint-Hilaire takes place each year in September including a carnival.

• 3rd edition of the Val de l'Ognon Open ! 🏆 - Organised by the Pesmes and Marnay AAPPMAs, this edition of the carnivorous competition will take place on Saturday 1 June 2024 at the Forges site in Pesmes. - A day of competition not to be missed, with 35 senior boats and 30 junior float tubes competing. - A number of partners are involved in this Open, including the Haute-Saône fishing federation, so that the winners can go home with great prizes such as a guide, shopping vouchers, subscriptions to fishing magazines, etc., as well as the memory of an exciting day's fishing !

We see it as an innovative algorithm - Waiting for a machine capable of making it work at full speed. This is where the power of writing lies, in that - Insofar as it requires very little technology. What about its transposition to the stage ? Is it possible to - Ctrl X's elaborate system without using heavy technology ? If this question seems technical, it's because - Ctrl X is definitely not a play like any other. Continuing the pattern of successive links, it reveals an infinite space - An infinite space where all the echoes of the world can collide. In this way, Ctrl X poses a real question to - creators that we are. It asks us about our ability to strip down a system to bring life into it - without compromising the vitality of that same system.

• The Ringo K7 Club is proud to welcome you to celebrate the very exciting life, very lo-cal fame and very repetitive demise of their beloved singer, Ringo Von Elvis. A theatrical, fanciful, dilettante biopic whose comic wit comes from its amateurish fa-bricks, its incompetent blunders, its biographical clichés and its simplistic dances bordering on choreographed nothingness. Like Monty Python in a sequined jacket, this humour makes our idols look tiny. It's the iconoclastic strength of the comedy of groupies, the candid and the corny. It's a delight to laugh at these characters, who always shine with their own ridiculousness. It's a real Tock'N Roll moment, just the way we like it.

• On 06 July 2024, the Carnet de bord association will be presenting the 5th edition of C'rock de l'île, a pocket festival on a magical site in Pesmes. This year we'll be welcoming 4 groups who are songwriters, composers and performers. Rock, punk, pop and electro, there's something for everyone. The site opens at 6pm. Yum yum yum and glouglou on site.
