• Vesunna Museum:

• An exceptionally well-preserved Gallo-Roman residence, enhanced by architecture by Jean Nouvel. In the heart of the ancient town of Périgueux, excavations have revealed the remains of a vast Gallo-Roman house, the domus of Vésone, richly decorated with murals. Models, film with 3D images, archaeological objects bear witness to the way of life of its inhabitants from the 1st to the 3rd century. This residence is contemporary with the amphitheater and the temple of Vesunna, the remains of which are still present near the museum.

• Museum of Art and Archeology of Périgord (museum of France, historical monument):

• The oldest museum created in the Dordogne including the construction was the subject of a competition in 1893. The east wing houses the collections of Prehistory 4th national collection; Africa and Oceania, 7th collection in France for the quality of the works presented. The cloister houses sculptures from the Middle Ages to the 17th century. The west wing presents painting, sculpture, works of art from the 16th to the 21st century.

• Military Museum of Périgord:

• With more than 10,000 objects, all remarkable, rare or picturesque, relive the daily life of soldiers of the Middle Ages to the present day.

• Gardens:

• To the heritage are added numerous green spaces, of which Périgueux is awarded 4 flowers in the competition of towns and villages in bloom. Two archaeological parks with the garden of the arenas and the garden of the temple of Vésone and an early 20th century nature theater with the Gamenson park.
• At Périgueux, along the river, the banks have been transformed into a "green way". Nearly 17 km of pleasant walks to do on foot, rollerblading or cycling.

• Extravagant or suggestive, idealized or rude, religious incarnation, humanist or erotic representation, support, material, subject itself, the body is a recurring motif in the history of the arts. Today, it continues to nourish numerous contemporary creations in the visual and performing arts. For artists, the body is a subject for questioning social and societal issues. - The CORPS program, comprising an exhibition, shows to discover, meetings and workshops with artists, is designed to tackle this theme over a three-month period. It is aimed at all audiences, adults and children alike, and invites families to share their emotions and practice together. - The group exhibition, presented in partnership with FRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine MÉCA, questions our relationship with the body, its perception and its language.

• As part of the Festival Expoésie, guest artist Christine JEAN presents an exhibition entitled "L'horizon des événements". The movements that animate nature have influenced the artist's working methods : fluidity, the forces of wind and water, are translated into action in painting, first and foremost through gestures : throwing, stretching, superimposing, erasing, dispersing, diluting, spreading, capturing the unexpected and making it one's own. Painting is first and foremost about time becoming space. - No additional charge to museum admission fee
